Seasonal contracts with a trigger depth, so the driveway is clear before you leave, not after you call.

Winter work, part of our Trees & Winter programme, and snow plowing runs on the same schedule and the same invoice as everything else on the property.

A band can sit over one town for six hours and leave the next town over dry. A single visit once it stops is not snow plowing in this region, it is a cleanup. Properties on a seasonal agreement get repeat passes while the band is still running.
Routes are built from the radar and the forecast discussion published by the National Weather Service Buffalo office rather than from a phone call after the fact. Trigger depth, response window, salting and where the pile goes are all agreed in October, so nobody is negotiating snow plowing terms at five in the morning.
A driveway and a retail lot are not the same job, so we do not price them off the same sheet.
Cleared on a trigger depth so you are not calling to ask. Two inches is the usual setting. We agree which side the snow stacks on before the season starts so it never ends up across a walk or against the garage door.
Cleared and salted before opening rather than whenever the route reaches you. Larger lots get repeat passes through a storm, because a lot that was clear at six is not clear at nine during a lake effect band.
Hand shovelled and salted where a plow cannot reach. For commercial property this is the part that carries the slip risk, so it is written into the agreement rather than left as a favour.
Applied to drives, lots, walks and steps. Timing matters more than volume, so salt goes down when it will actually work rather than on top of packed snow.
Seasonal is a fixed number for the winter and puts you ahead of per push customers on the route. Per push bills by visit. In a heavy winter seasonal wins, in a light one per push does, and nobody knows which is coming.
Bands stall over one town for hours at a time. Seasonal customers get repeat passes while it runs rather than a single visit once it stops.
We do not do roof snow removal or ice dam work. It needs different equipment, different insurance and a crew that does it every day through the winter. If you have ice damming we would rather point you at somebody who specialises in it than take the job and learn on your roof.
Everything at ground level is ours: drives, lots, walks, steps, salting and the pile management that stops your own snow becoming next week’s problem.

We run snow plowing across Buffalo and 31 towns through Erie and Niagara counties. If your street is not on the list, call anyway. The edge of the route moves with whatever is already booked nearby, and one or two neighbours is usually enough to make a street work.

Most people book snow plowing alongside one or two of these. Putting them on a single agreement schedules better and prices better than booking each job separately, and you deal with one crew and one invoice for the whole property rather than chasing three contractors.
