Planting plans drawn for Buffalo winters rather than a catalogue. We plant what survives here.

Spring to fall work, part of our Lawn Renovation programme, and landscaping runs on the same schedule and the same invoice as everything else on the property.

Plenty of landscaping looks excellent in its first September and thin by its second May. The usual reason is plant selection: material rated for a milder zone goes in, the first proper winter takes half of it, and the beds never recover their shape.
We plan landscaping around zone 6 and around what the site actually gives you in wind, shade and drainage. Plant selection lists from Cornell’s garden based learning program cover the same ground. The design work costs the same either way, so it may as well be built out of things that are still there in ten years.

We run landscaping across Buffalo and 31 towns through Erie and Niagara counties. If your street is not on the list, call anyway. The edge of the route moves with whatever is already booked nearby, and one or two neighbours is usually enough to make a street work.

Most people book landscaping alongside one or two of these. Putting them on a single agreement schedules better and prices better than booking each job separately, and you deal with one crew and one invoice for the whole property rather than chasing three contractors.
