Lake effect snow and storm response
in Hamburg, NY

Bands set up off the lake and stall. A driveway that was clear at nine can be buried by noon, and a single visit after the storm is not a snow service, it is a gesture.

Hamburg snow agreements are written on a trigger depth with repeat passes during a band, because that is what the weather here actually does.

Most property owners arrive at Hamburg landscaping after trying three separate contractors and repeating themselves to each one. One crew, one schedule and one invoice removes that. Planting choices follow what genuinely survives zone 6 here, which is the same ground covered by Cornell’s garden based learning program, rather than whatever the nursery had in stock.
