Seed, mulch and tackifier sprayed as a slurry. Cheaper than sod over large areas and it holds on slopes.

Spring and fall work, part of our Lawn Renovation programme, and hydroseeding runs on the same schedule and the same invoice as everything else on the property.

Dry seed on a grade in Western New York is a gamble. One heavy spring rain moves most of it to the bottom of the hill, and you end up with a thin top and a thick stripe along the base.
Hydroseeding sprays seed, mulch and a tackifier together so the whole mix stays where it lands and holds moisture while it germinates. Over large areas it costs a fraction of sod. Seed blend selection for this climate follows Cornell’s garden based learning program, because the shade and soil on your lot decide the mix, not the price list.

We run hydroseeding across Buffalo and 31 towns through Erie and Niagara counties. If your street is not on the list, call anyway. The edge of the route moves with whatever is already booked nearby, and one or two neighbours is usually enough to make a street work.

Most people book hydroseeding alongside one or two of these. Putting them on a single agreement schedules better and prices better than booking each job separately, and you deal with one crew and one invoice for the whole property rather than chasing three contractors.
