Shrubs and ornamentals cut back on the schedule the plant wants, not whenever the truck is nearby.

Spring and fall work, part of our Lawn & Yard Care programme, and trimming and pruning runs on the same schedule and the same invoice as everything else on the property.

Cut a spring flowering shrub in March and you have removed this year’s flowers. Cut anything too late in the fall and the new growth it pushes will not harden before the first freeze. Most bad shrubs in this region are not sick, they were just cut at the wrong time of year.
Our trimming and pruning runs on the plant’s schedule rather than the truck’s. Species by species timing from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County backs the same approach, and it costs nothing extra to do a job in April instead of February.

We run trimming and pruning across Buffalo and 31 towns through Erie and Niagara counties. If your street is not on the list, call anyway. The edge of the route moves with whatever is already booked nearby, and one or two neighbours is usually enough to make a street work.

Most people book trimming and pruning alongside one or two of these. Putting them on a single agreement schedules better and prices better than booking each job separately, and you deal with one crew and one invoice for the whole property rather than chasing three contractors.
